This is a piece I call "water drop" because of the way it looks like the bowl has splashed into the flat surface of the burl. It is made of one piece of brown mallee burl from Australia and features the natural edge of the burl exterior. The amazing grain structure is prominent in both the bowl portion and the flat area. The overall size is 15" x 12", 2.5" high and the bowl portion is 7" diameter. Finished with food-safe walnut oil. Signed by the artist on the bottom.
