This bowl is about 6.5" diameter by 7" tall and sits proudly on a table top displaying the fabulous and irregular grain patterns inherent in burls, combined with the bark-on natural edge, bark inclusions and voids. The warm tones of the cherry wood help to make this an appealing piece. The burl was obtained in Southeastern Pennsylvania from a cherry tree that had died and was slated for removal.
