Japanese maple bowl, natural edge

Japanese maple trees are ornamental trees that rarely grow large enough to provide bowls of this size.  This bowl is 10.5” x 7” and has its irregular natural edge. The pinhead bug holes are marked with a black shadow, speaking to the history of the tree before it was felled.  

The bowl is finished with food safe oils and wax.
