This is a large platter (shallow bowl) of honey locust. The warm colors of the wood are highlighted by the strong grain patterns. An inlay of abalone shell adorns the rim. This piece is 12.5" diameter x 3.5" high and is finished with food safe oils and waxes. This honey locust locust tree came down in a friend's yard during the 2021 tornado in Horsham, PA.
