Box elder vase

The reds and oranges associated with flame box elder emanate from the pith area on this piece, drawing the eye across the sweeping face of the vase shape.  This has a bark-on natural edge rim, a void space and some other features to ground us in the organic nature of this material.  The vase can be used with dried flowers or as a decorative piece on its own (no water).  It is 7.5" x 8.5" and is finished food safe.
